He explained they’ve been set forth as faculties from the annual’Medical Council of India’ inspection for so many decades.
“We’ve been engaged in both teaching and treatment of under-graduate/post-graduate pupils for many years now and today we’re also a part of Covid-19 related tasks like therapy of patients in addition to direction of Covid hospitals in various areas of the country,” he further added.

Another assistant scientist said that the OPSC evaluation for aspiring assistant professors at the government medical school hasn’t yet been conducted during the previous four decades.
“Many people have crossed the age limit for attending another OPSC examination that might be run later on (unsure ).
A number people will cross over the age limitation in the not too distant future,” he added.

He explained there is going to be a lack of senior faculties such as associate professors and professors in the future because of launching of several new government medical schools and retirement of several senior faculties in just about all departments.
“The new medical schools need more faculties to sustain or increase MBBS chairs or open MD/MS chairs in future based on MCI rules.
Our 7-8 decades of expertise as educators will be of terrific aid from the medical education program,” he further added.

The assistant professors at the memorandum said they were appointed in a vital period once the nation was in dire need for appreciation of MCI to boost the MBBS chairs to fulfill up with the healthcare demands of the nation and the chairs in the schools.
“Because of non-conduct of OPSC assessments from time to time we shed our years and seniority and it’ll be quite unfair to us when we must compete with all the freshers for your chairs.
It’s a petition to regularise our solutions,” they added.
