Patna: The public contribution to the Minister of Public Chief Assistance (CMRF) has increased almost 52 times in the last 15 years in Bihar because of the special initiatives taken by CM Nitish Kumar.
“The number of around RS29 Crore was accepted at CMRF in the 2006-07 financial year.
Now, this has increased to RS1.502 Crore at TA 2021-22 because of the special initiatives taken by you,” Chanchal Kumar, the main secretary for CM, told him (cm ) During the 21st meeting from the CMRF Supervisory Board on Friday.

During the meeting, CM was also told that ex Gratia from RS4 Lakh (from CMRF) was paid to the next relatives of each Covid who died in the state.
“So far, 3,704 families like each paid RS4 Lakh.
Total RS141.16 Crore has so far been released from CMRF,” the official said.
“Likewise, the RS100 Crore was paid to those who were stranded in different places during locking.
A total of RS1,000 each was transferred in a bank account of 21 lakh people from Bihar from CMRF during locking,” the official said.
The Supervisory Board approved the CM secretary nomination proposal, Anupam Kumar, as a new member – Council secretary, at the Chanchal.
