Mumbai: If direct steps are not taken to control the crowd in Mumbai, the pandemic situation will be the same as last year, the Bombay High Court warned on Tuesday.
A full bench led by Chairman of the Datta Flat Judge made oral observations after expressing concerns over the increasing crowd in public places after the next sidewalk and festival easing.
With the days left for Ganeshotsav, the market, like this one on the omelet, crowded every day on the bench warned that if the crowd-control action was not taken, the pandemic situation would deteriorate.
“Consider the situation of uncertainty and the next celebration that applies, we face a threat to mankind,” CJ Datta said.
Judges refer to the photos in the big crowd newspaper on Mumbai beach like Juhu and Giragaum Chowpatty, and on Drive Marine.
“If you (the government) do not control or limit this, again the same situation with last year will have happened.
We need to draw from our experience,” CJ said.
The court refers to the peak that turned off from Covid waves after the festival around the past.
Authorities and residents must learn from previous mistakes and not complacent themselves, said HC.
On Monday, Dr.
Rahul Pandit, which is part of a special task force for Covid-19 management designated by the Supreme Court, told the Administrative Committee “Third Wave Tapping our door “, said CJ Datta.
Pandit also advises the country to follow the appropriate behavior of Covid to at least April 2022, he added.” Unless the appropriate behavior of Covid is followed, the state will face the danger that will occur.
Dr.
Pandit is the view that at least until the end of April 2022, this nation might not get rid of Covid’s bad effects, “CJ said the bench extended help a month until September 30 of the temporary order on demolition, eviction and seizure.
Full benches will gather on September 24 to review The situation and pass the required order.
