This center will be functional in Ankleshwar in Bharuch from October 1.
“This is the control and center of the first command in this country, regulating mainly for chemical leaks and accidents on the road.
This will cover the streets in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh , Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and NCR in the first phase, “said Shanker K, a better CEO of Globe who had established the control room.
“Centrally control room will have seven people with a background of chemical engineering.
They will have detailed information about every chemical and how to deal with the situation if it leaks on the road.

A better Globe is the initiative of the Indian Chemical Board (ICC) to make the chemical and transportation industry safer in countries other than emergency response.
“We will provide a toll-free number that will be inserted on a tanker carrying hazardous chemicals.
If an accident occurs, the driver or commuter can call the number and talk to our representatives,” Shanker added.
Better globe has appointed a team including a police officer and fire department in every 200 km in various countries.
In an emergency, the control room will first ask the driver to take several security steps.
Next, the control room will call the nearest team and direct it to the place along with an ambulance.
And companies that have chemical stock and tanker owners will also be informed.
“We are in the process of practicing Tanker drivers and emergency teams about chemicals and safety protocols that must be followed.
The idea is to ensure minimum damage to people and the environment in the case of chemical leaks on the road.
We chose Gujarat to regulate this control room because this is a hub Chemical industry, “Shanker added.
