In his decision, the court quoted the assessment of the APEX court in the case of Lilly Thomas, where the APEX court said that without having faith in Islam, non-Muslim conversions only to get married was canceled.
“Furthermore, the High Court of Allahabad in the case of noor Jahan Begum alias Anjali versus the situation has argued that conversion only to get married is unacceptable,” said the court.
