New Delhi / Lucknow: The enforcement directorate searches in six places in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh on Saturday in a money laundering investigation associated with accusing the ‘forced conversion’ above.
The anti-terrorist forces from the previous police previously submitted anxious in this case and arrested six accused, including Umar Gautam and Mufti Qazi Jahangir Qasmi.
On June 25, Ed had registered a case under the prevention of money laundering laws, 2002 against Mohammed Umar Gautam and Mufti Kazi Jahangir Qasmi and Islamic Dawah Center (IDC) in Delhi’s Jamianagar.
The two defendants under detention of Uttar Pradesh (Upats) anti-terrorist troops.
An anti-money laundering body claimed that Umar and Qasmi were involved in large-scale conversions throughout India.
Facts, Ed said, have appeared during the search in their place in Jamia Nagar in Delhi and other places in Lucknow and Sant Kabir Nagar.
Ed was involved in this case only after the probe in the probe tracing the alleged document on illegal contributions, transfers from various countries, especially the Middle East into the Gautam Umar account and trust known by Fatima Charitable Trust (FCT).

Accused Umar Gautam was the Vice President of this Foundation, but after his arrest, he was removed from the post.
Sources in the police said that other people accused of Salahuddin Jainuddin were members of the Community Education & Welfare Guidelines in Sant Kabir Nagar.
“Some burdensome documents have been confiscated during the search, which revealed the large-scale conversion carried out by Umar Gautam who was accused and his organization throughout India.
The documents also revealed the receipt of foreign funding from several crores by his organization for illegal conversion.
Further investigations take place, “said Ed.
Previously, ATS, after the arrest of the sixth year accused Salahuddin Sheikh from Vadodara in Gujarat, it has claimed that Umar and his colleagues have converted more than 1,000 people to Islam to attract them with “money, employment, and marriage” offers.
The search for ed which includes the place of Islamic Dawah Center (IDC), the residence of Umar Gautam and his colleague Mufti Qazi Jahangir Qasmi, all located in Jamia Nagar in Delhi.
Al Hassan education offices and the welfare foundation and the guidance and community of the welfare community located in Lucknow and Sant Kabir Nagar, have also been sought.
Umar Gautam has been associated with these organizations and has played an instrumental role in carrying out illegal conversion, said Ed.
