Noida: GB Nagar MP Mahesh Sharma has demanded that the Postgraduate Children’s Health Office 30 Noida (PGIC) be converted into facilities such as AIIMS in the future or AIIM built in the district.
He filed a claim while talking about GB Nagar medical facilities at Lok Sabha on Friday.
Sharma stated that considering the lack of faculty in the newly established medical college, as well as the GB Nagar population of more than 50 lakh, there was a necessity to have facilities such as AIIM in Noida to give birth to the burden in AIIM in Delhi.

MD seats have also increased 78% from 31,185 to 55,595 now.
He added that since 2014, the number of new medical universities has been built has increased by 209, especially since the establishment of the National Medical Commission.
MP also praised the central Ayushman Bharat scheme, said 50 crores throughout the country received free health facilities under the scheme.
