Jaipur: Minister of Transfer Pratap Singh Khachariyawas has sent a proposal to the government to convert Rajasthan Roadways Corporation to department due to sustainable losses for years.
According to the proposal, the corporation must be converted into departments so that employee salaries and retirement along with the retired benefit of staff can be paid on time which is usually released after delay at least one month.
The highway is the department before 1964 after it has worked as a corporation.
Union employees also support this conversion.
Khachariyawas said, “I have written to the Chief Minister of Ashok Gehlot about the conversion of the highway to the department as he is currently suffering from losses.
The highway also has the traits that run into thousands of crores that can be used for better purposes that are not done now.
In addition, retired employees still benefit and some of them even died but the highway could not give them maturity.
“According to a proposal sent by the Minister, the highway is still running the bus on the route that has passengers who can be ignored and cause losses.
Subsequent proposals said that the inclusion of around 2000 buses on rural routes which was revealed to be ignored until now, would ensure better public transport facilities for the local population.
Meanwhile, street trade unions also support their conversion and unity, the front of the State M, L Yadav said, “If the highway is converted into departments and comes directly under the government so at least we will get our payment on time.
We have protested things The same since July and especially during this time of pandemic, pending salaries and retirement took victims on us.
We want a systematic solution to this problem.
