Converting 27% OBC Chair to General, SC tells Supreme

New Delhi: There will be no OBCs.
SC has directed the state selection commission to convert 27% of seats to be ordered into the general category.
AM Khanwilkar Judicial Bench and CT Ravikumar rejected the Maharashtra government’s request that sought the suspension of the entire selection process for at least three months where the commission was governed by it could complete the task of collecting empirical data on OBC and for polls held afterwards with seats provided for OBC candidates.
Senior advocate beat Rohatgi, appearing for the country, argues that it will provide all facilities and resources to the commission to track the process to enable a report within three months.
