LUCKNOW: 21 convicts lodged in distinct UP jails have denied to avail the parole being awarded to them.
Many have mentioned fear of approving Covid-19 out prison because the rationale for preferring to remain composed.
“Still another reason cited by people not carrying parole was that their sentence was all going to finish.
It is said that should they take parole today, it might be counted as a break in their prison term, they might need to finish when they reunite,” DG (prisons) Anand Kumar explained.
“Prisoners say they have access to improved health care centers, food and medication in the prisons.
A lot feel they won’t find appropriate care and centers within their own villages,” a senior prison official said.
