Convocation of SU is held online

Rajkot: The 56th Convocation of the University of Saurashtra (SU) was held virtually on Tuesday where 37,123 students 13 faculties were given degrees.
The program was held in front of the Governor of Acharya Devvrat and the Minister of Education Jeetu Vaghani in Rajkot.
Cording to Su, 108 students were awarded 127 gold medals.
Khushi Desai from MP Jamnagar Shah Medical College bagged the highest, eight gold medals in medicine.
He has topped the MBBS exam and gets the maximum value in the subject of operations and drugs.
He is currently doing an internship at GG Jamnagar Hospital.
The governor in his speech said, “Knowledge must be used to appoint the community.
The skill is needed to be useful in the nation building.” He also asked students to create employment opportunities by taking the maximum benefit from the government scheme.
He also appreciated the work done by Su during a pandemic.
