KRISHNAGIRI: A particular sub-inspector (SSI) of authorities was detained in Tamil Nadu’s Krishnagiri on Tuesday for killing his spouse.
The detained SSI was recognized as D Ramesh, 42, who had been working in the Krishnagiri Dam authorities station.
He had been living in the police quarters along with his spouse Rajalakshmi, 36, along with two sons and a woman.
On May 23, Ralalakshmi had been found dead under suspicious circumstances at her homeRamesh advised his acquaintances that his spouse had died of a coronary arrest.
But, his neighbours advised the Krishnagiri taluk authorities inspector Suresh Kumar there was a foul play in Rajalakshmi’s passing.
According to feeling, the police inspector delivered the body to the Government Hospital for postmortem.
“From the postmortem report, it had been shown that Rajalakshmi had been murdered,” the inspector said, indicating there wasn’t a wound to the back of her throat.
Authorities stated Ramesh confessed to getting strangled Rajalakshmi through a struggle.
He had been remanded in judicial custody.
