Coimbatore: A police constable attached to the armed book of Coimbatore rural authorities had been bitten by a poisonous snake while he had been on guard duty in the district pub center on Coimbatore–Siruvani principal street near Perur about Sunday night.
He had been declared to the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH).
T Jayaraman, 30, of Perundurai at Erode district, functions as a grade-II police constable in the Urban armed book police and resides in the police quarters at Podanur.On Sunday nightthat he had been set up in the Icon Centre, in which numerous temple idols were saved, in Perur for protector duty.Around 8.45 pm, and he also seen Russell’s viper snake in the middle and attempted to kill the snake by means of a stone.
However, the snake bit him on his indicator finger.Immediately, additional cops that had been on duty in the center killed the snake took Jayaraman into the CMCH where physicians handled him an antidote.
The health state of Jayaraman is also reportedly stable.
