Coimbatore: A police officer attached to the police of Tirupur was transferred to the armed reserve police after his video threatened the mobile owner into a viral on Sunday.
Alexander, class II police, who attached to Veerapandi Station in Tirupur had a fight with a mobile shop owner located in Valiplayam on Sunday.
At the point, the police threatened the shop owner and the incident was recorded in CCTV cameras in the area.
One of the recordings of this incident became a viral on social media on Sunday when the incident was taken to the knowledge of the police commissioner of Tirupur Vanitha on Monday, he ordered Alexander’s transfer to the City Armed Reserve Police.
