Chennai: The police asked complaints to the police chief that he was kidnapped in the car with an acquaintance, sedated and robbed of Rs 1 lakh through his Google Pay account.
In his complaint, Ravi 45 years from a special branch said he was on his way to the police headquarters in Kamarajar Salai on Saturday night when a man named Ajay Vicky, who was known to him, offered a car elevator.
When he entered, the complaint said, Ravi watched two other men in the car and sat next to them.
A few minutes later, he added, there was a stab behind and he became unconscious.
When he woke up, he found himself lying on the roadside near Sholinganallur on Sunday.
He also found that RS1 Lakh had been moved from his bank account through the GPay application on his phone, said the complaint.
Police Choolaimedu scan the CCTV camera recording to confirm the truth of complaints.
They are looking for a car registration number where Ravi is allegedly kidnapped and the account transferred money.
