PRAYAGRAJ: A constable sustained gunshot injuries following a set of unknown miscreants opened fire on policemen near Ajhara Bazar place beneath the constraints of Lalganj police channel of Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh district on Thursday night.
The constable recognized as Raj Kishore Chauhan was declared at SRN hospital at Prayagraj for therapy.
Pratapgarh police stated that cops submitted in PRV 4401 had hurried into Ajhara Bazar region after receiving information that a pair of unknown miscreants were targeting a bicycle showroom belonging to Vinay Jaiswal at approximately 1.
30pm.
After the police staff began a search procedure for miscreants, the number of unknown miscreants who had been hiding someplace opened fire on policemen of both PRV, leaving a constable wounded.
Miscreants somehow was able to escape in the place.
Police stated that constable Rajkishore Chauhan continued wounds in his left arm and his condition was said to be steady.

Two police groups are formed for additional investigation.
