COP is dismissed for looking for a CDR without permission

Mumbai: A police officer attached to the Vakola police station was dismissed from the Mumbai Police after the department’s investigation of him showed that he was reported to seek call details (CDR) of 12 people who had been ordered in the case of driving rash and negligent in 2015.
Investigations about this issue revealed That Constable Rajesh is more reported to get a CDR of 12 without looking for permissions needed from deputy zonal commissioners or other senior officers.
More, posted at the Vakola Police Station, was then sent to deputation to the Deputy Commissioner of the Police Station (Zone VIII) when he was suspected of writing to cellular service providers and looking for CDRs from 12 people.
An officer said the department’s investigation began immediately after the problem was revealed.
