COP is set to spread awareness about women’s safety among students

Nagpur: Senior Inspector of Ashalata Khapre from the Wathoda Police Station aims to take the issue of women’s safety and empowerment for the threshold of students, especially those aged between 13-17 years, in the coming days in various places in East Nagpur.
This week, Khapre and Nandanvan POLICE Senior Inspector (Senior PI) Mukhtar Sheikh together discussed the KDK College of Engineering students through digital media.
At the webinar, it was attended by around 120 students, two senior officers ensured assistance for women and girls in trouble at the police level.
Khapre, who saved five girls who left home after Tiff with parents earlier this month, the children said “more vulnerable to making a hurry decision” which contradicts their well-being.
“We observed that those aged between 13 and 17 years were falling different physiary prey on social media.
Our aim is to create awareness among these young girls, for whom the outside world is full of traps,” Khapre said, who during the webinar With engineering students, referring to the threat of human trafficking and meat extinguishing.
He also said that every girl or woman left home or Elopes with her Facebook / Instagram friends only based on a few days of chatting, and gone 200-300 km was a recipe for disaster.
Apart from young girls, Khapre also talks about the fate of married women, who often become victims of violence and harassment in the household.
“Women must advance to file complaints and the police will surely see sincere complaints,” he said, adding that the protection of children’s protection of the sexual law, 2012, has helped the police take strict action, but someone must be careful They are safety and security.
Speaking with Toi, Khapre said all the vulnerable places and vulnerable spots were being patrolized and monitored according to the Instruction of the City Police Chief (CP) Amitesh Kumar and with CP Aswati Dorje.
“Senior Nandanvan PI and I intend to visit more schools and other educational institutions to create awareness about women’s safety,” he said.
Sheikh also said that they aimed to increase the level of awareness of young girls about security issues and safety steps.
During interactions with engineering students, Sheikh motivated them to remain strong and positive, and “did not give up on suicidal thinking”.
