Coimbatore: Sulur Police in Coimbatore Regency on Thursday captured the suspended police through carrying 10 kg of tobacco products that are prohibited.
Defendant, Rumal, 47, was on his way to a grocery store in Pappampatti on two wheels to supply contraband goods.
A team led by Sub-Inspector Navanethakrishnan arrested him.
If the two-wheel used by it and the contraband it was confiscated by the 1997 batch police were suspended in 2010 when he was caught playing cards at the club in Udumalpet in the Tirupur district.
He was attached to the Podanur police station.
