Srinagar: Two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists, one of which was a former police and the other was a self-style commander, killed in a meeting in the Shoppian District of South Kashmir Monday morning.
In separate operations, security forces damaged a terrorist hiding place and arrested five let operators in the Central Kashmir Budgam Regency.
The Slain duo was identified as a police officer of Ishfaq Ahmad Dar and Majid Iqbal Bhat, both of Shopian, an official confirmed.
Active since 2017, Iqbal plays a role in planning and carrying out terror attacks on security companies, killing civilians, and indoctrinating local youth into militancy.
