Ghaziabad: House Officer Station (SHO) in Ghaziabad has been suspended for allegedly defeating the owner of a roadside cafe for opening the kiosk at night, police said on Saturday.
The incident took place on Friday at around 9:30 a.m.
Shopkeeper, Chandan Singh, alleged that Sho, the Kaushambi Police Station, Mahendra Singh demanded Rs 50,000 per month as bribes if he wanted to open the shop late at night, they said.
Although, there was no violation of the opening of the store because the administration had improved market time until 11pm, police said.
The department’s request was formed against it, said Senior Pawan Kumar Pawan Supervisor.
One Head of the Link Road Police Station Named Mahavir Singh has also been suspended and the department’s investigation will be carried out on it due to dereliks of tasks and several other serious accusations, added SSP.
