Greater Noida: A police group that spanned Chanchali village from the Jewar region of Greater Noida to detain a person engaged with the sale of Marijuana was supposedly assaulted by sailors on Wednesday night.
While two sub-inspectors and 2 constables suffered minor accidents, three individuals, including two girls, were detained.
A video of this episode was circulated social websites where the cops are observed sitting on a cot surrounded by villagers.
Later added force was delivered to the place and also the three accused Balbeer, his spouse Neetu, along with a comparative Rajni, were detained.
Vishal Pandey, ADCP of Greater Noida, stated that the group, such as 2 SI and 2 constables visited the area to perform a research and then to detain Balbeer, 35, in relationship with a brand new case.
On the other hand, the defendant’s family and sailors attacked the police staff.
Umesh Bahadur, SHO of all Jewar police station, stated that the suspects held sub-inspector Jaideep Singh hostage in a home.
“They manhandled the sub-inspector and ripped his uniform,” he further added.
“The 3 suspects have been produced before court sent to judicial custody.
We’re attempting to detain more people involved with the assault,” that the SHO stated.
