Cops Launching helpline to Advise Taxpayers in distress

Vadodara: In an effort to assist citizens in misery, the police department has established a helpline support.
City police commissioner, Shamsher Singh on Wednesday declared the helpline 70699 44100 and also 1096 will appeal to almost any individual who’s in trouble and requires counselling.
“We found this amount so that we facing any difficulty could directly take support from us.
The authorities have tied up with the NGO for conducting the helpline which is going to be operational across the clock,” Singh told TOI.
The police division has coached nine cops which will initially get the telephone calls and also interact with the caller.
“The cops are trained in how to speak to the caller, so take notes and provide first reaction.
If need be, then the phone will be moved to the expert counsellor,” Singh explained.
The authorities receive dozens of messages and calls from those that are facing difficulties.
Such forecasts have become at the Covid occasions as folks are experiencing anxiety.
“A lot of these issues can be solved by simply adhering to the individual or providing some guidance.
Our goal is to take care of these kinds of issues, particularly of youth and girls,” Singh added.
