Ludhiana: Cops who haven’t obtained their first dose of medication wouldn’t receive the wages for July unless they reveal that an advice by a physician prior to taking the jab because of a medical illness.
This measure was accepted by Ludhiana commissioner of authorities Rakesh Agarwal to guarantee 100% exempt from the police force.
In a dialogue with all the TOI, Agarwal said vaccination was why no town dinosaurs expired during the next wave.
“Throughout the first tide of Covid-19, approximately 500 police employees of Ludhiana commissionerate had tested positive, of which 80 who had acute illness were admitted to hospitals and just two lost their own lives.
Nevertheless, in the next wave, just 80 contracted the virus and no one has been hospitalised.
Just a few cops confessed themselves as a preventative measure and to avoid their own families.
No cop expired during the next wave and the motive was vaccination.
During the next wave, over 65 percent of these cops had obtained the very first dose of vaccine.
Though a few, regardless of the very first dose, even contracted the virus, though they’d moderate symptoms and recovered immediately,” he explained.
“To guarantee cent percent off, I chose this choice.
When there’s a real reason, like a cop is either pregnant or there’s some significant health problem, they can receive it in writing by the physicians.
Thus farout of 4,500 cops around 4,300 have the very first dose,” he further added.
Agarwal explained,”October wages is going to be provided to the cops that get the next dose.
This choice has been taken to conserve lives.
Our joint commissioner of police (headquarters) J Elanchezhian has any serious allergies and originally the physicians had advised him to not find the disease.
However after, when physicians studied similar circumstances, that the JCP was permitted to find the jab.
He obtained both doses and afterwards tested positive, but he recuperated at home isolation.
I would also counsel Ludhiana citizens to make them vaccinated.”
