Beijing: China on Friday rejected the call of the World Health Organization for an updated investigation into the origin of Covid-19, saying it supports “scientific” efforts to “politics” to find out how the virus began.
Pressure once again increased in Beijing to consider the new probe to the Pandemic orgin which has killed more than four million people and paralyzing the economy throughout the world since it first appeared in the city of Wuhan China Central.
The team of international experts who went to Wuhan in January 2021 to produce a first phase report, written in conjunction with their Chinese colleagues.
It failed to find a conclusive position about how the virus began.
On Thursday that urged China to share raw data from the earliest Covid-19 case to revive the probe to the origin of the disease.
China hit again, repeating its position that initial investigation was enough and that calls for further data were motivated by politics instead of scientific investigations.

“Conclusions and recommendations about WHO and China Joint Report are recognized by the international community and the scientific community,” he said.
