Corp rejects vigilance Research to pongala waste mgmt

Thiruvananthapuram: The need of BJP to get vigilance research to Attukal pongala waste control has been rejected through voting through the particular council held on Thursday.
Fifty-four councillors chosen against vigilance stunt while 33 councillors of all BJP have been in favour of research.
Thirteen councillors of all UDF failed to participate in voting.
BJP required a particular council following a schedule came up in the previous assembly about ratifying the anticipatory sanction provided by mayor Arya Rajendran for carrying 21 trucks rent at a price of more than $ 3 lakh for cleanup functions linked to Attukal pongala.
