Hubballi: After a three-month gap, the corporation of the North Carnataka transportation road (NWKRTC, Huballi Division) continued the bus service to Goa on Friday.
NWKRTC has taken precautions needed to ensure the safety of passengers traveling to Goa according to the Covid protocol.
H Ramangoudar, the division controller, told TII that in accordance with the Goa government notices, passengers traveling to Goa must bring Covid negative reports provided by the Ministry of Health 72 hours before their trip.
“Many people from Hubballi-Dharwad and the surrounding districts travel to Goa to work.
But most of them find it difficult to finish the test.
RS 270 shooting for Covid tests is difficult for many poor families.
If passengers test positive Covid, they will be rejected into Goa, “he said.
“Considering financial problems faced by many poor people traveling to Goa, we will do a free covid test for all such passengers at the Gokul bus terminal here,” he added.
