Nagpur: Corporatization of Armament Factories and the appointment of top management officials in seven new entities carved from the Factory Arms (OFB) have been challenged in court.
All Indian Defense Employees of the Federation (AIDEF), Lean-left Union, have submitted a case against the corporation on Monday at Madras High Court.
The Union also challenges the Essential Defense Services Act (EDSA).
Law, immediately applied after talks between square weapons and the government failed, made a strike in illegal defense companies.
Both cases have been submitted by auxiliary in Madras High Court, the Association of Indian Weapon Factory (IOFS) of the Association of Officers (IOFS) has submitted a case on Wednesday challenging the method of appointment of top management officers, including the Director of Managing Chair (CMD) and new corporate director.
Under corporatization plans, seven public sector companies have been carved from OFB.
The association has made the Secretary, Defense Production, the Corporate Ministry, Director General ofb and all chosen for CMD and Directors as respondents.
The Delhi High Court has presented a notification to respondents.
Union sources say there are a number of problems that have caused conflict.
The association of officers has accused that no procedure, both stipulated by the UNI Public Service Commission (UPSC) or Public Business Selection Agency (PESB), has been followed in the selection process.
The source of associations is thought that the age criteria suddenly changed.
The change was not told the public, but candidates were sent to emails, he said.
“The representation of several officers who seek clarification was removed without a reply,” said the source, adding some candidates did not even get an interview call.
All of these points will be raised during litigation, the source said.

The union fight against corporatization is that there is an agreement with the previous defense minister that OFB will not be a corporation.
Workers’ unions say it has even been mentioned in parliament that the idle capacity of weapons factories must be maintained to fulfill any exegment.
Factories may not be financially feasible as a business company.
Edsa is challenged to quote the strike is the constitutional right of factory workers.
They are covered under the Industrial Dispute Law and can strike after following certain procedures.
