JaLandHar: After a separate quota of 12.5% for Mazhabi Sikhs / Balmikis was not mentioned in the advertisement issued on October 19 for the recruitment of assistant professors and librarians in government universities, the Ministry of Higher Education issued Corrigendum on Friday night while also starting disciplinary actions against one Official.
Earlier on that day, Adi Dharam the founder and Head of Darshan Ratan Ratan issued a strong statement, blaming Charanjit Minister Singh Channi’s head for a hose.
However, when contacted, Kris Kumar’s Higher Education Secretary said that it happened accidentally in the official.
“I issued instructions for the correction as soon as it came to my notification and I also issued instructions for disciplinary actions against officials,” he said.
The Ministry of Higher Education issued an advertisement for the recruitment of 1,091 assistant professors and 67 librarians and prone to say that in accordance with the administration of 12.5% of reservations for Mazhabi Sikhs / Balmikis, 137 POSS assistant professor and eight librarians will go to their community.
Ads mention that reservations for SC candidates will be according to Punjab Castes and Backward Classes (Reservations in Appointment) of Act, 2006.
