‘Corrupt Man’: Mamata targets Dhankar again; Bengal Governor said the ‘unfortunate charges’

Written by news2in

New Delhi: Bengal Head of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee on Monday alleged that Governor Jagdeep Dhankar was named in a Chargesheet in the Hawala Jain 1996 case which names it.
Previously today, Mamata, who often accused the governor of interference in his government, fired another Salvo in Dhankar.
“He is a corrupt man.
He was named in Chargesheet in the Hawala Jain 1996 case.
Why did the central government allow governors like this to continue?” He told reporters at the State Secretariat without describing his charges.
Trinamool Supremo Congress also said he had written many letters to the removal center of Dhankhar.
“In accordance with the constitution, I will continue to meet him, talk to him.
And follow all courtesy …
But, the union government must act on my letters,” he said.
Mamata also questioned the visit of the governor to North Bengal.
“Why is he suddenly a tour of North Bengal? I can feel a conspiracy to divide North Bengal,” alleged CM.
Reacting to Mamata’s allegations, Dhankar said he had never been charged in the Hawala Jain case as a suspicion.
“Bengal accusation CM is very unfortunate, he must mention the chargesheet from the Hawala Jain Case where I was named after,” he said.
However, when asked whether he would take legal action against Mamata, Dhankar said: “Until now in Indian culture, no one takes action against younger sisters.
I will not go there.
I am sad.
Mamata Ji is a mature leader.
Why did he do this? “(With input from the agency)
