New Delhi: In moving to aggressive Chinese propaganda counter, Indian security formation on Tuesday released photos of Indian troops flying and holding tricolor in Galwan Valley at Eastern Ladakh as part of the New Year celebration.
The picture shows the Indian army, armed with the latest Sig Sauer assault rifle, with Tricolor and their Dogra regiment flag at the observation post in Galwan Valley.
“The post is near the site where rival forces have clashed in June 2020,” said a source in security formation.
The release of images came three days after the media of China, the video of the Liberation Army (PLA) that discussed the Chinese flag and sent a new year’s greetings which was said to be from Galwan Valley.
Indian sources have denied the video, saying it was not filmed near the buffer or demilitarized zone there.
