New Delhi: The Ministry of Health Union on Friday said that 44.9 doses of Lakh Covid-19 vaccine will be accepted by the state and UTS in the next three days.
More than 33.63 doses of Crore vaccines have been provided by the Center and UTS so far through the Government of India (free of charge) and the direct country procurement category.
From this, total consumption, including waste is 33.73.22,514 doses, the Ministry said in a statement.
The union government is committed to accelerating the steps and expanding the scope of Covid-19 vaccination throughout the country, he said.
The new phase of the Covid-19 vaccination on vaccination starts from June 21.
Vaccination boost has increased through the availability of more vaccines, advanced visibility of vaccine availability to the state and UTS to allow better planning by them, and streamline the vaccine supply chain.

As many as 9,41,03,985 people in the age group 18-44 in all countries and UTS had received their first dose and 22.73,477 received the second dose, he said.

On the day 167 of the vaccination drive (July 1, 2021), of a total of 42.64.123 vaccine doses given, 32.80,998 beneficiaries vaccinated for the first dose and 9.83.125 beneficiaries received the second dose of the vaccine, it said.
The ministry said 24.51,539 vaccine doses were given as the first dose and 89,027 vaccine doses as the second dose in the age group 18-44 on Thursday.
“Eight countries – Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka and Maharashtra – have provided more than 50 lakh the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the 18-44 age group,” he said.
Vaccination exercise as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from Covid-19 continues to be reviewed regularly and monitored at the highest level, the ministry said.
