Country to receive 44.9 doses of lakh covid-19 vaccine in the next three days: center

New Delhi: The Ministry of Health Union on Friday said that 44.9 doses of Lakh Covid-19 vaccine will be accepted by the state and UTS in the next three days.
More than 33.63 doses of Crore vaccines have been provided by the Center and UTS so far through the Government of India (free of charge) and the direct country procurement category.
From this, total consumption, including waste is 33.73.22,514 doses, the Ministry said in a statement.
The union government is committed to accelerating the steps and expanding the scope of Covid-19 vaccination throughout the country, he said.
The new phase of the Covid-19 vaccination on vaccination starts from June 21.
Vaccination boost has increased through the availability of more vaccines, advanced visibility of vaccine availability to the state and UTS to allow better planning by them, and streamline the vaccine supply chain.
