New Delhi: Indian countries and regions of India will receive more than 12 Covid-19 Crore vaccines in July, the Minister of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) was informed on Wednesday.
On this morning, more than 2.19 crore doses have been supplied to all states and UTS from July supply.
“Based on discussion with producers, the ministry has communicated with all states / UTS that they will receive more than 12 doses of covid vaccine in July 2021,” Read Press Releases.
Countries are also informed adequately before the supply of covid vaccines that are being sent to them.
“Furthermore, all countries have also been asked to share indicative demand if more vaccine doses are needed by them in view of increasing coverage,” the ministry said.
Unloading media reports that accused a 32 percent decline in vaccination coverage in the first week of July compared to the week before that, the Ministry said they had clarified, many previous, doses that would be available for the country and UTS in July, including supply to private hospitals.
“The state / UTS has been advised to plan their Covid-19 vaccination session based on the availability of covid vaccines,” Ministry added.
