Coimbatore: The district offense division (DCB) of metropolitan authorities detained a few on Friday for adulterous an older Vellanaipatti resident by pledging his territory record for Rs lakh.The detained people were diagnosed as K G Sudha, 43, spouse of Ganeshamurthy and D Arockiya Charles, 44, of Kannampalayam close Sulur.
“In 2018, Sudha approached Masagounder, 81, of Vellanaipatti, that had been staying at his home worth Rs 50 lakh and advised me that he’s qualified for a Rs two lakh subsidy in the Union authorities.
She requested him to give power of attorney Charles to find the cash.
Masagounder did thus and Charles moved Masagounder’s house to Sudha’s title.
In addition, he prepared a forged record revealing he had awarded a cheque worth Rs 13 lakh into Masagounder.
Sudha vowed the property at a private lender for Rs 5 lakh,” a police officer said.Masagounder’s relatives, who initially came to learn more about the misdeed, prompted him to file a police complaint.Police filed an FIR against the two and four other people around December 31.
DCB authorities sub-inspector Baskaran and staff detained Sudha along with Charles on Friday.
They have been remanded in judicial custody.
Charles was lodged at the Pollachi sub-jail and Sudha at the special prison for girls in the Coimbatore Central Prison.
