Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police arrested a partner who worked on a contract in the patient’s care section of the Tims Hospital in Gachibowl to steal jewelry from Covid-19 patients.
The defendant, Chok, 36, and his wife, CH Lathasri, 39, joined the TIMS in the patient’s care section six months ago based on the contract.
According to Madhapur DCP M Venkatesharulu, the couple committed seven violations in six months targeting unconscious Covid-19 patients and those who died of a virus.
“The couple was used to work in the patient’s patient ward of TIMS hospitals.
They pay attention to gold ornaments and other valuables in some patients.
Raju and Lathasri hatch plans to do valuables from unconscious patients and from those who died when undergo treatment while undergoing treatment in times.
According to the plan, Lathasri is used to keep outside the ward while Raju does theft, “DCP said.
After making ornaments theft, the defendant had mortgaged some of them with private investors and sold a few.
They spend money obtained from luxury results, police said.
After receiving a lot of complaints from the victim of Covid-19, Police Gachibowli together with the Jagadgigigutta and CCS Police Cyberabad, identified the defendant and arrested them on Friday from Rajiv Gruhakalpa Colony at Kukatpally.

Raju, Indigenous Dharmapuri in Mahabubnagar operate a taxi in the city when he met Lathasri in 2017 and then they married.

Raju was used to bring some outsourcing workers from the Jeedimetla area to the hospital in his car during the locking period and he was also employed in the TIMS along with Lathasri.
The defendant will be produced before the court for Judicial detention.
