NEW DELHI: The yearly generation of indigenously developed coronavirus vaccine Covaxin is going to be raised to 6-7 crore doses in July-August by 1 crore doses in April, the Union Health Ministry said on Friday.
The manufacturing capacity of this vaccine being manufactured by Bharat Biotech is forecast to reach almost 10 crore doses per month from September, the ministry stated.
“There are several unfound media reports on vaccine dosages of Bharat Biotech.
These reports are wrong and aren’t supported by complete details regarding the subject.
The promises of Bharat Biotech with 6 crore concentrations is a mistake of understanding of some quarters reporting that the stated issue,” the ministry said in its announcement.
The manufacturing capacity of Covaxin is going to be increased by May-June and subsequently increased almost six-seven fold by July-August 2021, i.
