Congress on Friday demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered an investigation of the Covaxin agreement with Brazil because of the focus on the investigation ordered in the recipient country.
The party also slammed the government to a slow vaccination rate.
AICC spokesman Supriya Shipe said Covaxin was developed by Bharat Biotech in partnership with ICMR, which implies the use of taxpayers.
But, he said there were serious accusations raised in Brazil who threw shadows on all entities involved in the vaccine.
