Kolkata: Volunteer of the vaccine court that has participated in the clinical studies of the Covid-19 vaccine in Kolkata has begun to obtain a joint-produced vaccination certificate.
Some volunteers, who have received two actual vaccine doses during Covaxin trials in Kolkata niced, were told on Monday that their data had been updated on co-win and that they could download the appropriate certificate.
It has brought hope for trial participants from other Covid-19 vaccines in the city.
On August 10, TII has reported anxiety among the vaccine court participants who have not received a certificate, a document that has taken a very important pandemic to travel and enter certain places.
On Monday night, Jadavpur Resident Saptarshi Bhose got a call from ICMR who said that he could now download its certificate from Co-Win.
Bhose has participated in the Covaxin Phase III trial at the Belowaghata Institute along with his partner Rai.
While Bhose was then told that he had received the actual dose of vaccine, Rai had received a placebo shot.
“I got a call from Niced around 4pm that said that my name has been uploaded on the co-win portal.
They asked to confirm whether I could download the same.
Finally, I feel relieved that I got my vaccination certificate.
Thanks to the media to raise This problem, “said the credit risk management professional.
The first Indian vaccine court began in Niced in December.
About 1,000 volunteers participated, where 50% got two actual vaccine shots.
Even as a participant who received Jab which was actually given a certificate by the Institute, it was not recognized in all places.
“The delay in obtaining a vaccination certificate causes anxiety between the trial volunteers.
Finally, this problem has been sorted and we are also relieved,” said Shanta Dutta, Director of the ICMR.
But those who have taken part in Sputnik-V trials have not received information about their certificate.
Sonarur Resident Kalyan Dey, his mother Sipra and the wife of Pujita Mandal had taken part in the Russian vaccine trial at Peerless Hospital.
While his wife got placebo, Kalyan and his mother got the real vaccine.
“Because Covaxin trial participants have begun to get a certificate, we hope we will get it soon,” said Soumya Sarathi Ganguly, a PhD scholar at IIT Kharagpur.
“After this research was not spared, those who received the placebo were also offered a vaccine by Dr.
Reddy’s.
We hope that all will get a certificate,” said the main investigator of the Sputnik-V Subhrojyoti Bhowmick.
