NEW DELHI: The screening of kids aged 6 to 12 years to its clinical trials of indigenously developed Covid-19 vaccine, Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin is scheduled to begin from Tuesday.
According to resources, the recruiting for clinical trials of Covaxin one of those aged 12 to 18 years has been finished.
They’ve been given one dose of drug.
Following the recruiting of children aged 6-12 decades, AIIMS-Delhi will soon be running trials to its 2-6 age class.
The paths are happening in 525 centers.
AIIMS Patna, Mysore Medical College and also Reaserch Institute at Karnataka also have been chosen to run clinical trials on kids.
“We’ve begun recruiting for kids aged 6-12 decades.
Recruitments for clinical paths on kids aged 12-18 years will be finished.
They’ll be held under observation.” Stated Prabhat Kumar Singh, manager, AIIMS, Patna.
