Covid: 1,108 new cases, 18 deaths in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka has registered 1,108 new cases of Covid-19 and 18 deaths, with total infection to 29,65,191 and tolls to 37,555, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday.
That day also saw 809 release, taking the total number of recovery in the state as far as 29.11,434.
Of the 1,108 new cases reported on Thursday, 308 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 203 release and 5 deaths.
The total number of active cases in this country is at 16,174.
While the level of participation for that day reached 0.66%, the case mortality rate (CFR) was at 1.62%.
Of the 18 deaths reported on Thursday five came from Bengaluru Urban; Beleagavi Four, Dakshina Kannada Dua, followed by someone else.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 308, Dakshina Kannada 186, Udupi 113, Mysuru 87, Hassan 64, was followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,42,640, followed by MySuru 1.77.103 and Tumakuru 1,19,800.
Among the release as well, Bengaluru Urban overcame the list with 12.19,141, followed by Mysuru 1.74,170 and Tumakuru 1,18,058.
Cumulatively, the total sample of 4.58 crore has been tested in a state so far, where 1,66,006 was tested on Thursday.
