Covid: 15 Maha Disi has less than 100 active cases

Mumbai: As a second wave of Covid-19 decreases, there are 15 districts in the state which has less than 100 active Covid-19 cases.
Six of 15 regencies have active cases in one digit, while the Nandurbar district dominated by the tribe has absolutely no active cases at all.
Of the 55,000 active cases in the state, more than 37,000 were concentrated in five Pune, Thane, Satara, Ahmednagar and Sangli districts.
City, with more than 3,000 cases, is in seventh position in the state.
“15 of these districts are smaller, with rare population densities and limited movements,” said a state official.
Officers said that the challenge now is to maintain a daily detection number and low active case in parts of the country.
Dr.
Subhash Salunkhe, the technical adviser of the state government, said that the Delta variant was still active in the state and new cases seen among the people who were previously unpasted.
Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that from 36 districts in the state, only seven districts reported a higher level of infection than the average infection rate for the state.
“The numbers are still driven by these districts.
We are still focused on these districts to ensure that detention norms are implemented correctly to curb deployment,” Tope said.
The Minister of Health warns that districts with cases in one digit should not let their guard down.
Dr.
Salunkhe said that the country is currently in a favorable situation compared to Israel or the US, who witnessed the third wave due to the Delta variant.
“Our second wave caused by the Delta variant and its variant seems to be stable at this time.
We need to use this time to vaccinate as many people if we want to prevent a large third wave,” he said.
He said the recent Sero survey in the state and Kerala had shown that the level of antibodies among people dropped.
“The weather conditions in the next few months will see a temperature that fluctuates conducive to virus growth.
We must use this time to ensure people are vaccinated,” he said.
Finally, he said people had a tendency to forget that it was only four months since the body was found floating in Ganga.
“We must take precautions,” he said.
Dr.
Vishal Patil, Dhule District Coordinator for Covid-19, said that the district reaped rewards consistently following all prevention and corrective protocols.
“Our intense testing, tracking and treating in all pandemics helps us reduce the case immediately.
We do 2,500 to 4,000 tests per day.
The aim is to ensure that nothing is left,” said Dr.
Patil.
Jalgaon Civil Surgeon Dr.
N S Chavan said the district was well used data in people with comorbidity produced by my family’s survey of my responsibility about the state government.
“Administration ensures special attention to them.
We managed to curb the spread of infection through intense testing and close contact tracking,” said Dr.
Chavan.
