Covid: 1,606 new cases, 31 deaths in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka on Monday reported 1,606 new Covid-19 cases and 31 deaths, encouraging infection which was calculated to 28.96,163 and the death toll became 36,405.
That day also saw 1,937 release, taking the total recovery amount to 28.36,678.
Bengaluru Urban recorded 467 new cases, because the city saw 497 releases and 3 deaths.
Active cases in the state reach 23,057.
Of the 31 deaths, 4 comes from Dakshina Kannada, Bengaluru Urban, Havri, Mysore and Uttara Kannada (3 each), Batawayavi, Kolar, Mandya and Vijayapura (2 each), followed by others.
After Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada contributed a large number of new cases with 357, Mysuru recorded 162 and Udupi 78.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12.25,227, followed by MySuru 1.72,279 and Tumakuru and Tumakuru 1.17,525 , Among the release as well, Bengaluru Urban sustained a list with 12.01,209, followed by Mysuru 1.68,431 and Tumakuru 1,15,129.
Cumulatively total 3.79,66,095 samples were tested, where 1,14,072 was tested on Monday.
