Covid-19: 1,065 cases, 28 deaths in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 1,065 new Covid-19 cases and 28 deaths on Monday, with total infection to 29,30,529 and tolls to 37.007.
That day also saw 1,486 release, took the total number of recovery in the state as far as 28.71,448.
Bengaluru Urban contributed 270 cases from the total amount and saw 378 release and four deaths.
The total number of active cases in the country is 22,048.
While the level of participants for that day stood at 0.93 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 2.62 percent.
Of the 28 deaths, five came from Dakshina Kannada, Bengaluru Urban and Mysuru (respectively), Hassana and Kodagu (respectively), Chitradurga, Kolar and Uttara Kannada (2 each), followed by others.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Dakshina Kannada contributed 284, Bengaluru Urban 270, Udupi 107, Mysuru 63, was followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,33,172, followed by MySuru 1.74,679 and Tumaku.

Among the release as well, Bengaluru Urban was above with 12.09.176, followed by Mysuru 1,71,209 and Tumakuru 1,16,844.
Cumulatively totaling 4.10.25,095 samples were tested in a state so far, where 1,13,580 was carried out on Monday only.
