Patna: Eleven new Covid-19 cases are registered in the state on Sunday against 1.67,207 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases, Patna has three maximum, followed by two of each in Madhepura and Purnia and each in Bhagalpur, Champaran East, Rohas and Vaishali.
Thirty-one districts report no new cases in the last 24 hours and 11 districts have zero active cases.
The Covid Tally in Bihar reached 72.56.94.
However, 71.59.28 patients recovered and 9,653 died in the country so far.
Meanwhile, 52,967 covid-19 vaccine doses are given on Sundays.
So far, 3.54 crore doses have been given in the state.
There will be no vaccination in Patna District on Monday.
However, Patna DM Chandrashekhar Singh has provided direction to set mega vaccination drives in the district on August 31 for 100 percent coverage.
DM held a meeting with a civil surgeon and other health officials, sub-division officers, responsible medical officers and BDO and instructed them to plan it.
Singh said 40 Van Tika Express would be part of this campaign.
