“All patients who came to the OPD were tested through the antigen method before consultation.

This belongs to various city regions,” said Deputy Chief of Medical Officer Dr Milind Vardhan.
“As soon as we receive a report, a drive is launched to test at least 25 contacts from each patient, so if anyone else is infected, it can be isolated earlier,” he added.
Five other people were also tested positively from various parts of the city, taking the case of the day to 17.
Abhishek District Judge Prakash also called a meeting to take stock situations and direct all hospitals to perform extensive filtering and testing patients who came to OPD.
It was also decided that the six-day randomized testing campaign will also be carried out in all government and private hospitals, airports and trains and buses.
Meanwhile, eight patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
The active case is now 57.
