Covid-19: 1,259 Cases, 29 Deaths in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 1,259 Covid-19 cases and 29 deaths on Tuesday, taking total infection at 29,41,026 and the toll road to 37,184.
That day also saw 1,701 release, took the total number of recovery in the state as far as 28.84,032.
Of the 1,259 new cases reported, 295 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 371 release and 11 deaths.
The total number of active cases in the country reached 19,784.
While the level of prospitis for that day stood at 0.65 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 2.30 percent.
Of the 29 deaths reported on Tuesday 11 from Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada each had four, while Hassan and Mandya each recorded two deaths, followed by others.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 295, Dakshina Kannada 273, Udupi 128, Mysuru 102, Hassan 69, followed by others.
Urban District Bengaluru topped the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,35,601, followed by Mysuru 1.75,439 and Tumaku 4,19,013.
Among the release also, Bengaluru Urban was above 12.12.048, followed by Mysuru 1.72.109 and Tumaku 1.17.222.
Cumulatively total 4.22,62,303 samples were tested in a state so far, where 1,90,915 on Tuesday only.
