Chennai: Fifteen districts reported an increase in marginalized in the case on Wednesday, with new cases in the state down to 962 of 973 on Tuesday.
The state reported 19 deaths and issued 1,078 people from the registry.
In the end, there were 11,012 active cases and cumulative talls reached 36,176.
Two Chennai District (109) and Coimbatore (105) continue to report cases in three digits.
At least 24 districts reported less than 20 new cases each and among them reported cases in one digit.
The two districts also have the highest number of active cases.
Chennai has 1324 people attended by 1246 in Coimbatore.
With one new case each at Theni and Ramanathapuram reported the number of new cases that were the least followed by four each in the salary, Ariyalur, Dindigul and Mayiladuthurai.
Meanwhile, with 27 active cases, Theni has the least number of people followed by 32 in the screens.
The sharpest increase in the last 24 hours was reported from the screens and tubercation.
