Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala on Thursday reported 21,445 fresh covid cases that pushed the total Kaseeload infection to 36.31,638, with the number of people who surrendered to the virus rose to 18,280 with 160 deaths.
A total of 20,723 people have recovered from infection since Wednesday, taking total recovery to 34.36,318 and the number of active cases in the state to 1,76,518, the release of the state government.
In the last 24 hours, 1,45,582 tested samples and TPR were found 14.73 percent.
So far, 2,90,53,257 samples have been tested, he said.
Some of the worst affected districts in the country are Malappuram (3300), Kozhikode (2534), Thrissur (2465), Ernakulam (2425), Palakkad (2168), Kollam (1338), Alappuzha (1238), Kottayam (1188) and Thiruvananthapuram (933).
