Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala on Wednesday recorded 22,056 fresh Covid-19 cases that pushed Matieload infection to 33.27,301, with the number of people who surrendered to the virus rose to 161 more deaths.
17,761 people have recovered from infection, taking total recovery to 31,60,804 and the number of active cases to 1,49,534, said the release of the state government.
In the last 24 hours, 1,96,902 tested samples and TPR were found 11.2 percent.
So far, 2,67,33,694 samples have been tested, he said.
Some of the worst affected districts in this country are Malappuram (3931), Thrissur (3005), Kozhikode (2400), Ernakulam (2397), Palakkad (1649), Kollam (1461), Kannur (1179), Thiruvananthapuram (1101) and Kottayam (1067).
From new cases, 100 are health workers, 120 comes from outside the country and 20,960 is infected through contact with the contact source unclear in 876 cases, the word release.
At present there are 4,46,211 people under supervision in various countries.
Of these, 4,19,098 is located in the house or institutional quarantine and 27,113 in the hospital.
